Copyright and DMCA Policy

GoDocLab respects copyright and other intellectual property rights.

This page explains how copyright applies to content on GoDocLab, files uploaded by users, and reports of claimed copyright infringement.

Copyright on GoDocLab

Unless stated otherwise, the original content published on GoDocLab may be protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

This can include:

  • Website text
  • Graphics
  • Logos
  • Tool interfaces
  • Original guides and articles
  • Website design elements
  • Original software and code

You may use GoDocLab tools for their intended purpose.

You may not copy, republish, sell, or distribute protected GoDocLab content without permission unless applicable law gives you the right to do so.

Your Uploaded Files

You keep ownership of files you upload to GoDocLab.

Uploading a PDF, image, document, or other supported file does not transfer ownership of that file to GoDocLab.

You give GoDocLab permission to process the file only as needed to complete the task you requested.

For example, if you upload a document to our Compress PDF tool, our service needs to process that file to create the compressed result.

You are responsible for making sure you have permission to upload and process each file.

Do Not Upload Copyrighted Content Without Permission

You should upload or process a file only if:

  • You own the content
  • You have permission from the copyright owner
  • Your use is allowed by applicable law
  • You have another valid legal right to use the content

Do not use GoDocLab to copy, edit, convert, remove protections from, or distribute copyrighted material when you do not have permission to do so.

Our Terms and Conditions also apply to your use of uploaded files.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe content available through GoDocLab infringes your copyright, you can send us a copyright removal request.

Your notice should include:

  1. Your full name and contact information.
  2. A clear description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
  3. The exact URL or location of the material you want us to review.
  4. A statement explaining why you believe the use is not authorized by you, your agent, or applicable law.
  5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate.
  6. A statement that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act for the copyright owner.
  7. Your physical or electronic signature.

Please provide enough detail for us to identify the material.

Where to Send a Copyright Notice

Send copyright complaints to:

Copyright Contact: [ADD NAME OR DEPARTMENT]
Email: [ADD COPYRIGHT EMAIL]
Address: [ADD BUSINESS OR DMCA ADDRESS]
Phone: [ADD PHONE NUMBER, IF APPLICABLE]

You may use an address such as copyright@godoclab.com if you create and actively monitor that mailbox.

Do not list contact details that nobody checks.

What Happens After We Receive a Report?

When we receive a complete copyright complaint, we may review the report and the material identified in it.

Where appropriate, we may:

  • Remove or restrict access to content
  • Request more information
  • Contact the person connected to the content
  • Take action against repeated misuse of the service
  • Keep records needed to handle the complaint

A copyright complaint does not guarantee automatic removal. We may review whether the notice contains the information needed to act.

Counter Notification

If your content is removed or restricted because of a copyright notice and you believe the removal happened because of a mistake or wrong identification, you may send a counter notification where applicable.

A counter notification should include:

  • Your name and contact information
  • Identification of the material that was removed or restricted
  • The location where the material appeared before removal
  • A statement that you believe the material was removed because of a mistake or wrong identification
  • Any statements required by applicable copyright law
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Send counter notifications to the same copyright contact listed above.

Under the U.S. DMCA process, a valid counter notification can lead to restored material if the original complainant does not begin the required legal action within the period set by law.

Repeat Copyright Violations

GoDocLab may restrict or end access for users who repeatedly misuse the service to infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights.

We may also block activity that creates a clear legal or security risk for the website or its users.

Uploaded Files and Public Content

Files uploaded to GoDocLab for processing are different from content published publicly on the website.

GoDocLab's current service model processes uploaded files to complete tasks requested by users.

For details about file handling and data practices, read our Privacy Policy.

False or Misleading Copyright Claims

Do not submit a copyright complaint if you know the claim is false.

Before sending a notice, make sure you have a valid reason to believe the material infringes rights that you own or are authorized to enforce.

Copyright complaints can have legal effects, so the information you provide should be accurate.

Third-Party Content

GoDocLab may contain links to third-party websites, services, advertisements, or resources.

Those websites control their own content and copyright policies.

If your complaint concerns material hosted on another website, you may need to contact that website directly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Copyright and DMCA Policy if our services, copyright procedures, or legal requirements change.

The latest version will appear on this page with an updated date.
